Thailand’s SCBX joins AI research initiative as a founding member

It aims to explore how AI is shaping the future of global financial systems.

Thailand’s SCBX has announced that it is a founding member of FinTechAI@CSAIL, a research initiative led by the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

The initiative aims to explore the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in shaping the future of global financial systems, according to a press release.

SCBX will be represented by Kaweewut Temphuwapat, chief innovation officer of SCBX and CEO of SCB 10X.

Other founding members of the initiative include American Express, Bank of America, Citi, Imperial College, NASDAQ, PayNet, Royal Bank of Canada, SWIFT, and Wells Fargo.
