Meezan Bank launches history book on its rise in Karachi
The book is authored by researcher and writer Sibtain Naqvi.
Meezan Bank, Pakistan’s first and largest Islamic bank, has launched its history book Unconventional – The Bank No One Saw Coming in Karachi.
The event was attended by senior business leaders, dignitaries, and the bank’s top management, with State Bank of Pakistan Deputy Governor Saleem Ullah as guest of honour.
Authored by researcher and writer Sibtain Naqvi, the book charts Meezan Bank’s journey from concept to becoming one of Pakistan’s leading financial institutions and a global reference in Islamic banking.
Meezan Bank President and CEO Irfan Siddiqui said the book reflects the trust of customers and stakeholders and offers management lessons for institutions and leaders worldwide.
