Hang Seng Bank launches instant transfer service JustPay

Users can make voice recordings and send animated greetings.

Hang Seng Bank has launched “JustPay”, which features a voice recording function.

Users can create voice recordings and send animated greetings to recipients using the “Sweet Pay” feature. Transfers can be made instantly across banks using the Pay or Scan to pay features.

The Hang Seng mobile app provides direct access to JustPay. Customers can make direct payments from their existing Hang Seng HKD bank accounts.

JustPay is built on the Faster Payment System (FPS), which recorded over 17 million FPS personal service registrations across Hong Kong by the end of September 2025— a 12.5% increase since January, based on data from the Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited. The average monthly instant transfers have risen to over 70 million in the first 9 months of 2025.
