DBS Hong Kong and KPay introduce collection management solution for SMEs

DBS MAX reportedly supports 29 online and offline collection methods.

DBS Hong Kong and KPay have collaborated to enhance DBS MAX Merchant Solutions and introduce a “more-than-payment” merchant ecosystem.

The ecosystem, which targets small and medium enterprises (SMEs), simplifies collection management. KPay’s KConnect SaaS marketplace offers access to a range of services including point-of-sale (POS) systems, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, and other value-added services.

DBS MAX now supports 29 online and offline collection methods that include other major mobile wallets in Hong Kong.

A June 2025 survey of 100 respondents by DBS Hong Kong found that 96% of local SMEs are utilising digital collection methods, compared to 70% in April 2024. 95% of the respondents are using more than one payment service provider.
