Aeon Bank and Zurich Malaysia extend partnership to offer Takaful plans

Customers can avail of a plan for as low as MYR5 or MYR18.

Aeon Bank and Zurich Malaysia have extended their existing partnership to enhance Takaful protection, offering services for as low as MYR5 per month.

Under the new collaboration, Aeon Bank will offer Shariah-compliant, Takaful protection via new offerings in its app. This includes the “Personal Accident Takaful” and “Term Takaful”, which were made available on the app beginning 29 October 2025.

Customers can avail of Personal Accident Takaful for as low as MYR5 per month. The Personal Accident Takaful offers coverage in the event of total permanent disablement or accidental death, with the sum covered either MYR50,000 or MYR80,000.

The Term Takaful plan is available for as low as MYR18 per month. It offer protection covering death or total and permanent disability due to all causes (natural and accidental), including funeral expenses and daily hospitalisation beenfits. The sum covered can be MYR50,000 or MYR80,000.

Both plans are 100% Shariah compliant and accessible 24/7 via AEON Bank app, Aeon Bank and Zurich Malaysia said in a press release.

It is available to Malaysians aged 18-59 years old, and the entire process—from selection to enrolment— can be completed entirely in the Aeon Bank app.
