Citi names Soonwok Kwon as head of market sales for South Korea

Kwon used to work at UBS AG and Credit Suisse AG in Seoul.

Citi has appointed Soonwook Kwon as head of market sales for South Korea, effective 8 December 2025.

He is tasked with coordinating closely with the markets product teams and partners across services, banking & international.

Kwon brings over two decades of experience in financial markets and was most recently the managing director and branch manager at UBS AG and Credit Suisse AG in Seoul.

Kwon reports to Cecile Gambardella and David Um.
