StanChart enables Ascentium clients to easily open accounts in Hong Kong

Ascentium clients can also access StanChart’s referral network in Asian markets.

Standard Chartered has inked a memorandum of understanding with Ascentium, a business services solutions provider, enabling Ascentium’s clients to open bank accounts quickly and begin operations in Hong Kong.

The new service connects Ascentium’s customers to Standard Chartered’s referral network in Singapore, mainland China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam, and India.

Ascentium will join Standard Chartered’s Global Chinese Services network, establishing a connection to Chinese corporations, according to a press release.

Ascentium is a business services solutions provider headquartered in Singapore. It employs over 2,500 people across 45 cities in 23 markets globally and serves 60,000 client entities.

Apart from faster account opening and referral network access, Standard Chartered and Ascentium also plan to offer businesses joint marketing opportunities, as well as co-host events for the businesses to connect.
