Standard Chartered names Ryan Song as head of M&A in Korea

He is expected to help grow the bank’s M&A advisory business in the region.

Standard Chartered has appointed Ryan Younghun Song as head of M&A, Korea.

Song is expected to support the bank’s efforts to grow its M&A advisory business in the region.

He is based in Seoul, South Korea and reports to Rajesh Singhi, global head, cleantech & environment, diversified industries, and oil, gas & chemicals, M&A Advisory; and Yong Kwan Kwon, CEO, Standard Chartered Securities Korea, and head of cpaital markets, Korea.

Song brings twenty years of investment banking experience in his new role. He previously worked for Bank of America (BofA), Credit Suisse, J.P. Morgan, and Shinhan Investment.
