Citi names Goldman Sachs banker as head of healthcare for ANZ

Ben Bartholomaeus’ past work includes the stake sale of Novotech and a A$1.6b DBG Health investment.

Citi has welcomed Ben Bartholomaeus as head of healthcare, Australia and New Zealand, for its Capital Markets and Advisory team.

Bartholomaeus joins from Goldman Sachs, where he was head of healthcare in the Corporate Advisory Division for Australia and New Zealand.

Amongst his work in GS include advising the A$1.6b investment in DBG Health, the sale of a Novotech stake to GIC and Temasek, and a 53% stake spin-off in Ramsay Sante.

Bartholomaeus will report locally to Australia and New Zealand co-heads of Capital Markets and Advisory, Philippe Perzi and Ben Connolly.

He will also report to Ling Zhang, head of healthcare, Asia Pacific.

Bartholomaeus will be based in Sydney, Australia.
