Endowus partners CIP to offer renewable energy investments
CIP helps build utility scale batteries and wind farms across the APAC region.
Endowus, a wealth advisory and investment platform, has partnered with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) to provide Hong Kong and Singapore investors access to CIP’s renewable energy strategies.
The collaboration offers accredited investors in the two cities access to institutional-quality renewable energy investment opportunities, Endowus said in a press release.
CIP specialises in developing and constructing large, complex projects that share the future of energy.
In the Asia Pacific region, CIP’s funds help build utility scale batteries in Australia and wind farms in South Korea, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Japan. It has over 7 gigawatts (GW) worth of assets in construction and operation across Asia.
A further 60 GW is reportedly in development, according to CIP.
The firm has raised over EUR37b in assets since its inception in 2012, and has a presence in over 30 countries.
CIP’s portfolio spans greenfield energy infrastructure projects, encompassing power generation (solar and wind), energy storage, transmission and distribution, advanced bioenergy, low-carbon fuels and carbon capture.
