Vietnam’s HDBank partners LSE to drive cross-border fundraising
They have made cooperation agreements with several Vietnamese businesses.
Vietnam’s HCM City Development Commercial Bank (HDBank) has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with the London Stock Exchange (LSE) to promote cross-border fundraising activities.
The partnership will include the issuance of shares, bonds, and other financial instruments in the London market, according to a media announcement on 15 April 2026.
The partnership also aims to strengthen connections with global institutional investors, and to improve transparency and corporate governance standards.
HDBank and LSE said that they implemented cooperation agreements with several leading Vietnamese businesses to support their access to international capital markets. Participating businesses include corporations in the industrial, manufacturing, and export sectors such as Hoa Sen, THACO, and Phúc Sinh.
Separately, HDBank announced plans to issue up to $300m in international green bonds.
“Through the London platform, HDBank expects to open a long-term connection channel between the Vietnamese market and international investors,” said Kim Byoungho, chairman of the board of directors of HDBank.
