BNP Paribas net income rises 4.1% to $12b in FY 2024

BNP Paribas’s full-year 2024 net income attributable to the Group climbed 4.1% year-on-year (YoY) to $12.16b (€11.69b), up from $11.68b (€11.23b) in 2023.
The bank’s revenues during the period saw $50.78b (€48.83b), a 4.1% YoY increase from 2023 on a distributable basis.
With an average corporate tax rate of 26.2%, Earnings per share rose 8.9% YoY to $9.95 (€9.57).
Its corporate and institutional banking (CIB) segment’s revenues rose by 8.4% YoY to $18.62b (€17.90b), supported by strong performances across all business lines.
Global Banking revenues grew by 7.1% YoY, driven by Capital Markets in EMEA and Transaction Banking in the Americas and Asia-Pacific.
