HSBC Amanah to launch additional 26 branches

Th lender aims to provide world class service to customers by offering a complete Islamic finance.

HSBC Amanah Malaysia Bhd aims to open 26 branches by 2013, HSBC Bank Malaysia Bhd Deputy Chairman Mukhtar Hussain said Tuesday.

He was speaking at the official launch of HSBC Amanah's eighth branch in Bangsar here by Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing Minister Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin.

"HSBC Amanah's suite of commercial banking products is suitable for businesses looking for an alternative to conventional banking and also seeking global connectivity.

"As HSBC Amanah aims to provide a world class service platform by leveraging from the HSBC Group and its global connectivity, we are able to offer customers a complete Islamic finance proposition," Muhktar said.

HSBC Amanah offers a full suite of innovative Shariah-compliant propositions for both retail and corporate customers.
