CIMB Niaga, Sun Life Indonesia deepen bancassurance partnership

Sun Life will provide insurance solutions to CIMB Niaga’s customers through all channels.

Bank CIMB Niaga and Sun Life Financial Indonesia are deepening their existing bancassurance relationship, which would see Sun Life Indonesia become the provider of insurance solutions to the bank’s customers.

Under the new agreement, Sun Life Indonesia will provide insurance solutions to CIMB Niaga customers through all channels for a term of 15 years beginning January 2025.

Sun Life Indonesia currently offers insurance solutions to CIMB Niaga customers through digital and out-of-branch channels. 

Established in 1955, CIMB Niaga is the second-largest private bank by total assets in Indonesia as of December 2021, with a network of 427 branches serving 7 million customers across Indonesia.
