Citi hires Bhavin Shukla to lead infrastructure banking in JANA and Asia South

He joins from J.P. Morgan, where he was a managing director.

Citi has appointed Bhavin Shukla as managing director, head of infrastructure investment banking for JANA & Asia South.

Shukla will serve as the regional anchor for infrastructure-related advisory, financing, and origination, Citi said.

He will work in close partnership with regional heads of Citi’s financial and strategic investors group, natural resources, real estate, and other key global partners, the bank said.

Shukla joins from J.P. Morgan, where he serves as managing director, head of Asia infrastructure investors coverage (ex-Australia), and head of India infrastructure investment banking.
