Motilal Oswal profit skyrockets 65% on record operating surge

The India financial services company saw asset and private wealth growth.

Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd. recorded a profit after tax (PAT) of $24.8m (INR2.27b or ₹227 crore) for the Q3 FY2026 period, a 65% year-on-year (YoY) growth.

The Indian financial services company said that it recorded its highest-ever operating PAT of $66.69m (INR6.11b or ₹611 crore) for the Q3 FY2026 period, 16% YoY higher, according to a press release in January 2026.

Total assets under management (AUM) grew 33% YoY to $20.63b (INR1.89t or ₹1.89 lakh crore), driven by mutual fund AUM growing 40% and private alternatives AUM growing by 62%.

Motilal Oswal saw strong growth in its asset and private wealth management business in particular. Brokerage revenue grew by 15% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), whilst treasury book grew 16% YoY.

Interim dividend is INR6 per share for the period.
