Societe Generale names Ken Tung as Asia head of its healthcare industry group
Tung will continue to serve as APAC head of financial sponsors coverage.
Societe Generale has appointed Ken Tung as head of industry group, healthcare, Asia Pacific.
Tung will oversee the origination and execution of investment banking activities in the healthcare sector across the region, Societe Generale said in a press release.
He will continue to serve as the head of financial sponsors coverage, Asia Pacific.
His new responsibilities include mergers and acquisitions (M&A), equity capital markets (ECM), equity private placements, and a broad range of investment banking solutions.
Tung is also tasked with strengthening Societe Generale’s strategic dialogue with key clients in the sector.
Prior to joining Societe Generale, Ken Tung served as head of financial sponsors group, Asia Pacific, investment banking at HSBC since 2018.
Before that, he held several senior strategic positions in investment banking at Deutsche Bank, Citigroup and other global financial institutions.
He graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in actuarial mathematics and economics.
