Natixis names William Xiong as new head of loan syndicate for APAC

Xiong first joined Natixis CIB’s loan syndication team in 2017.

Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking (Natixis CIB) has appointed William Xiong as head of loan syndicate, Asia Pacific.

Xiong joined Natixis CIB in the loan syndication team in 2017. In his new role, he will be responsible for the underwriting risk for APAC deals and loan syndication to APAC banks.

He has over 14 years’ experience in Asia Pacific banking roles, focused on loan syndication. Prior to joining Natixis CIB, he was with BNP Paribas, in Sydney and Singapore, in loan syndication roles. 

He is based in Singapore, reports to Arnaud Francillon, head of distribution & portfolio management, Asia Pacific; Fabrice Guesde, head of credit markets and global structured credit and solutions, Asia Pacific; and Chris Lovgren, head of global credit syndicate. 

Locally, Xiong will report to Sanjeev Kumar, senior country manager, Singapore and head of South East and South Asia.
