Citi makes two key appoints for markets, TTS business

Vandana Bhatter and Anoushka Dua have been named in key ASEAN leadership roles.

Citi has made two key appointments in its Markets and Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) business.

Vandana Bhatter has been appointed as head of markets for ASEAN, effective immediately.

In her new role, Bhatter will be responsible for leading and driving a fully integrated business strategy, monetizing Citi’s local market network and strengthening connectivity both within Asia Markets, and with the other Institutional Client Group businesses, Citi said.

She retains her existing responsibilities as ASEAN corporate sales and solutions (CSS) head for markets along with her new role.

Meanwhile, Anoushka Dua has been named the head of treasury and trade solutions (TTS) for ASEAN.

Prior to her new role, Dua was head of trade for ASEAN, where she was reportedly instrumental in transforming the trade business in ASEAN. Under her leadership, Citi built and commercialized structured trade capabilities, as well as amplified client engagement on working capital solutions.

Dua will report to Rajesh Mehta, head of TTS Asia Pacific and Amol Gupte, head of South Asia & ASEAN.
