Mizuho names crisis chief for specialty assigned matters

The position change is effective on 29 January.

Mizuho Financial Group has appointed its managing executive director, Hiroshi Kawamoto, as chief crisis management officer (CCMO) in charge of “specialty assigned matters.”

Previously Kawamoto, as CCMO, had only been in charge of chairman-bank of the Japanese Bankers Association.

The position change is effective 29 January 2024.
