Standard Chartered names Alvaro Patron as head, global corporate sales, financial markets

According to a release, Standard Chartered has appointed Alvaro Patron as Head, Global Corporate Sales, Financial Markets. Alvaro will be based in Singapore, reporting to Christian Wait, Global Head of Sales, Financial Markets.

Alvaro will be responsible for delivering the Bank’s suite of financial markets solutions to Global Corporate clients across our footprint.

Alvaro joins Standard Chartered from Citigroup where he spent 15 years, and most recently held the position of Asia Head of Corporate Derivatives Structuring and Consultative Sales. He brings extensive structuring and sales experience working with global corporate and institutional clients across Asia and the Americas.

Christian Wait added, “I believe that Alvaro’s vast experience in working with global corporate clients will enable us to further deepen relationships with some of our core clients and drive our business to new heights.”
