Airwallex gains capital markets services license in Singapore
It is also launching Airwallex Yield to businesses in the city.
Airwallex’s Singapore entity has been granted a capital markets services (CMS) license by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
In tandem with this, Airwallex Capital (Singapore) has launched Airwallex Yield, which offers investment solutions and custodial services for businesses in Singapore.
Airwallex Capital is collaborating with Fullerton Fund Management to manage its Singapore Dollar (SGD) investment strategy, and Goldman Sachs Asset Management for its US Dollar (USD) solution.
Through Airwallex Yield, businesses can can invest in highly rated money market funds; grow their foreign currency balances without opening additional accounts; and
maintain liquidity, with no lock-up periods.
Businesses can move funds between cash balances and Yield accounts as needed to meet their growth needs, Airwallex said.
The launch of Airwallex Yield in Singapore follows its earlier rollouts in Australia and Hong Kong.
Earlier in 2025, Airwallex raised $300m in a Series F funding round.
