Citi hires StanChart veteran to lead Hong Kong corporate banking

Anita Li joins Citi in July.

Citi has appointed Anita Li as head of corporate banking for Hong Kong, effective July 2026.

Li is tasked with leading Citi’s corporate banking business in Hong Kong. Her role covers local corporates, financial institutions, public sector organisations, and multinational subsidiary companies.

She joins from Standard Chartered Hong Kong, where she was most recently head of investors for Greater China & North Asia, and head of financial institutions for Hong Kong. She brings over 25 years of working experience in her new role.

Li reports to the head of corporate banking for Japan, Asia North & Australia; and Aveline San, Hong Kong CEO and banking head.
