HK, China sign MoU on infrastructure financing, securitisation

The two will explore Renminbi opportunities for infrastructure loan securitisation.

The Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Limited (HKMC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the China International Capital Corporation Limited (CICC) on cooperation in infrastructure financing and securitisation (IFS).

Both parties will enhance cooperation across areas such as joint efforts to tap into capital market opportunities related to infrastructure assets.

The two will also expand the investor base and explore Renminbi opportunities for infrastructure loan securitisation.
