Hong Kong’s livi bank, FWD General Insurance launch home insurance plan

Those who avail of the plan can enjoy insurance coverage of up to HK$5m.

Hong Kong virtual lender livi bank and FWD General Insurance have jointly launched Easy HomeCare, a home insurance plan.

The launch comes after a survey by livi bank found that only 28% of its customers own home insurance, although 70% of respondents said they are looking to purchase home insurance plans online.
 
Easy HomeCare takes care of customers’ home assets concerns and covers a variety of areas. These include an all risks coverage for loss or damage of household contents, such as furniture and electrical appliances; comprehensive protection covering your valuables, including jewellery, gold, silver, photographic equipment amongst others, with an aggregate maximum of HK$100,000; and personal liability coverage to cover the legal liability of you or your family members normally living with you, with up to HK$5m worldwide coverage. 

Customers can get comprehensive coverage for their home assets, at a competitive annual premium of HK$420 with a 10% discount special launch offer.
