HSBC appoints Runa Baksi as head of SEA for global trade solutions

Baksi will oversee GTS across Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.

HSBC has named Runa Baksi as head of Southeast Asia for global trade solutions (GTS), which is part of the bank’s corporate and institutional banking business.

Baksi will oversee GTS business across Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Prior to her new role, Baksi was managing director and country head of GTS for HSBC India. Before joining HSBC, Baksi held senior leadership roles at DBS, the Receivables Exchange of India, and Deutsche Bank.

Baksi will be based in Singapore and will report to Wong Kee Joo, CEO, HSBC Singapore; and Aditya Gahlaut, regional head of GTS, Asia.
