IWG, Standard Chartered launch co-working space within bank branch

Spaces@SCB is located within the bank’s Serangoon Gardens branch.

IWG has teamed up with Standard Chartered to launch Spaces@SCB.

Spaces@SCB is a Spaces centre located within Standard Chartered’s Serangoon Gardens branch. It is the first co-branded partnership between the two companies in APAC.

“Hybrid working is now the preferred solution for millions, as more employees split their working hours between their company headquarters, a local workspace, and their home. We’re delighted to extend our partnership with Standard Chartered to bring hybrid work solutions into the heart of local communities,” said Mark Dixos, founder and CEO of IWG.

Dixos shared that they plan to add more than a thousand new locations globally over the next year across a wide range of formats. These include partnerships with banks, supermarkets, airports, and traditional office locations.

In 2021, IWG signed a global deal with Standard Chartered last year to enable the bank’s 95,000 employees’ access to 3,500 IWG offices around the world, which will now include Spaces@SCB.
