JST Singapore obtains in-principle approval for an MPI license

JST Singapore said that it will continue to work towards securing its licenese.

JST Digital & Technology has clinched an in-principle approval for a major payment institution (MPI) license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to provide digital payment token services.

JST Singapore said that it will continue to work towards securing its license.

The firm provides market making, solutions, and trade execution services.  

JST Singapore CEO and JST Digital co-founder Todd Morakis expressed pride in receiving the in-principle approval from MAS.

"We're proud to receive in-principle approval from the MAS allowing us to operate in one of the leading regulatory frameworks for digital assets in the region,” Morakis said in a press release.
