Moomoo Singapore surpasses 1.5 million app users
The investment app has launched an AI investment assistant.
Moomoo Singapore, a financial broker, said that its app moomoo has surpassed 1.5 million users, a 50% increase in user growth within a 15 month period.
Moomoo offers a digitalised brokerage and wealth management platform, offering investment products via its app.
CEO Gavin Chia said that nearly 7 in 10 clients of Moomoo were profitable in the past 12 months.
On a whole-of-portfolio basis, equities remain the most popular instrument for investors, forming nearly 60% of a typical winning portfolio. Wealth management products also saw significant allocation at 26%, Chia said in a keynote address during a company event held on 12 July 2025 at Suntec Convention Centre.
“When sentiment around the US market shifted, many investors took a proactive approach: trimming US allocations from 75% to 67%, increasing their exposure to Hong Kong from 9% to 12%, and maintaining a stable position of around 20% in Singapore,” Chia said.
Moomoo also launched Moomoo AI during the event, touted as an advanced investment assistant that is powered by cutting-edge LLM technology. It can help users analyse stocks and track market trends through a simple, conversational interface.
Moomoo AI delivers real-time, holistic insights by combining financial data, technical indicators, and the latest news, all tailored to each query, the company said.
Beyond AI, Moomoo said that it is doubling down on digital assets to build on the successful rollout of crypto trading in 2024. This made Moomoo Singapore the first and only online broker licensed to offer crypto trading services in the city.
