NETS names ex-DBS Tech COO as CEO of Banking Computer Services

Alex Woo will lead the Banking Computer Services Private Limited, a NETS’ subsidiary.

The Network for Electronic Transfers (NETS) has appointed Alex Woo as CEO of Banking Computer Services Private Limited (BCS) effective 17 March 2025.

BCS is a wholly owned subsidiary of NETS and is an entity within the NETS group.

Prior to Woo, the role was covered by Lawrence Chan, interim CEO of BCS, in addition to his role as Group CEO of NETS.

Woo has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. He is formerly the Technology Chief Operating Officer, Managing Director of DBS.

Prior to his last role at DBS, he served as Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director DBS Technology India.

Earlier in his career, Woo worked in JPMorgan Chase and Hewlett-Packard.
