OCBC names new Greater China head, OCBC Wing Hang China CEO
Wang Ke and Ang Eng Siong are stepping up to their new roles on 1 November.
OCBC has announced leadership changes in its China business, including a new head and CEO.
Wang Ke, current CEO of OCBC Wing Hang China, will assume the role of head of Greater China, effective 1 November. He replaces Tan Wing Ming, who will return to Singapore as an advisor to the group CEO.
Wang first joined OCBC in 2012 as head of IT in China. He was appointed the head of the Pearl River Delta region in 2017, and assumed the position of CEO of OCBC Wing Hang China in 2019.

OCBC credits critical technology infrastructure and capabilities built in China to Wang’s leadership, noting that OCBC Wing Hang China’s profit has more than doubled since 2019.
Ang Eng Siong, current deputy president and head of corporate banking at OCBC Wing Hang China, will serve as acting CEO.
Ang first joined OCBC in 2009, where he spent 6 years in Singapore in various roles across risk management, finance and business development. Ang moved to China in 2015, and was most recently head of corporate banking.
