Combined market share of Australia's big four banks

They have a combined market capitalisation of $260 billion and account for almost 87% of the home loan market.

National Australia Bank, Commonwealth Bank, Westpac, and Australia and New Zealand Banking Group benefit from a funding advantage driven by its scale and reach. According to East & Partners, Australia's Big 4 can offer more competitive deposit rates and tap the capital markets at lower cost than smaller rivals.
