VietinBank to launch digital business matchmaking platform

It aims to provide companies with connections to expand into new markets.

VietinBank, through its partnership with UK-based fintech company Opportunity Network (ON), is planning to launch a digital business matchmaking platform that promises to connect as much 15,000 business leaders in over 113 countries. 

According to a press release, the platform aims to provide companies with strategic connections to expand their operations into new markets, raise capital, and increase cross-border trade.

Through ON’s proprietary algorithm, company’ preferences can be effectively logged and matched with strategic deals aligned with their business goals.

"Partnering with Opportunity Network helps us address an important challenge: the fact that many businesses could benefit from expanded tools and valued intelligence solutions that are a step ahead in digitalization to help companies make the best decisions to leverage the value of their personal and business needs," said VietinBank CIO deputy general director Tran Cong Quynh Lan.
