ANZ names Tammy Medard as group executive business & private bank
Medard will join the executive committee.
ANZ has appointed Tammy Medard as group executive business & private bank, effective 1 May 2026.
Medard will join the executive committee. She is tasked with improving the experience of customers as well as driving future growth and performance as part of ANZ’s 2030 strategy.
Medard is currently managing director of institutional Australia and Papua New Guinea. She is responsible for 3,500 institutional customers in those markets, ANZ said in a March 2026 announcement.
Medard succeeds Clare Morgan, who is leaving ANZ. Morgan established the division, reset its performance, and developed its digital strategy, according to the Australia-headquartered bank.
Medard first joined ANZ in 2009 and has held senior roles in the institutional and risk divisions both in Australia and Asia.
