Bank of China launches "Micro-Bank"

It’s also available through WeChat and Yixin.

Bank of China, one of China’s Big Four state-owned banks, has launched “Micro-Bank,” a series of products accessible on the Internet via mobile text service WeChat and mobile chat app Yixin. To access BOC Micro-Bank, users need to search and follow the public account of "BOC Micro-Bank" on WeChat and Yixin to use functions such as financial services, message push and interaction.

BOC Micro-Bank includes six service modules: Micro Customer Service, Micro Credit, Micro Financing, Micro Payment, Micro Life and Micro Shopping. Micro Bank is an important part of BOC’s plans to establish a network bank and focus on mobile finance. BOC is expected to further increase its cooperation base on the open platform in the future
