Bank of East Asia to open select HK branches seven days a week

Cash transactions will not be available during the weekends.

The Bank of East Asia (BEA) extended its business hours for three branches in Hong Kong. 

The branches of Causeway Bay, Tsim Sha Tsui, and the Sheung Shui branches will operate seven days a week, including Sundays, from 1PM to 5PM.

The change will be effective from 20 May to 11 June.

During extended operating days, the banks will service personal account opening and general enquiries. However, cash transactions will not be available.
