Citi names Hooi Wan Ng as head of markets for Malaysia

Ng joins from JP Morgan, where she had led the local markets and private side sales since 2011.

Citi named Hooi Wan Ng as head of markets for Malaysia, effective December 2024.

Ng joins from JP Morgan, where she led the local markets and private side sales. She has been with JP Morgan’s Malaysia office since 2011.

She brings over 24 years of banking and financial services experience in Malaysia. She began her career in the corporate banking team of Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and has also worked for Southern Bank Berhad and Standard Chartered.

Ng will report to Sue Lee, head of markets for the Asia South cluster, and Vikram Singh, Citi country officer and banking head for Malaysia.
