Eximbank board member withdraws resignation whilst others set to leave
Pham Tuan Anh said he talked with the board and management in making his decision.
Vietnam Export Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank) announced that one of its board members withdrew his resignation, whilst seven other board and supervisory board members are still set to leave.
Pham Tuan Anh has requested shareholders and the board of Eximbank to consider and approve the withdrawal of his resignation letter dated 12 February 2026.
“After careful consideration, review of my work plans, and discussions with the Board of Directors and the Bank’s Management, I have come to the conclusion that my continued participation in the Board of Directors at this stage is necessary to ensure continuity and stability in governance, management, and the implementation of the Bank’s strategic orientations,” Pham wrote in a letter dated 13 April, translated to English from Vietnamese.
Pham, along 3 other board members and 4 members of the supervisory board, were announced to have resigned from their roles last 13 February. Pham’s term was set to end in 2030.
At the time of his resignation, Pham cited personal reasons related to prioritising time for new work plans.
Pham said that he has made adjustments to his personal plans to perform his duties as board member of the Eximbank.
