Kookmin Bank names Lee Chan-gun and Park Ji-woo EVPs

Appointments aimed to improve the stability and efficiency of the bank organization and strengthen its marketing.

South Korea's largest lender Kookmin Bank said Tuesday that it has replaced two of its executive vice presidents as part of its reshuffle to boost profitability and efficiency.

Lee Chan-gun, former chief of Hana IB Securities, was named as executive vice president in charge of corporate financing, replacing Kim Han-ok, who took the post in August.

Park Ji-woo, head of the bank's online channel division, was appointed executive vice president for the bank's credit card business.

The reshuffle also strengthened its retirement services and marketing units in a bid to raise its share in the retirement market and develop new products tailored to customer demand, the bank said in a press release.
