Krungsri names Kohei Omori as head of Japanese corporate banking

He headed the corporate banking division in the US Midwest.

Bank of Ayudhya PCL (Krungsri) has appointed Kohei Omori as head of Japanese corporate banking, effective 1 April 2026.

Prior to joining Krungsri, Omori was managing director, head of Japanese corporate banking division for the Americas (US Midwest) unit of MUFG. He concurrently held the positions of head of Chicago Branch and Head of Kentucky Representative Office.

In these roles, he oversaw Japanese corporate clients across the Midwest region.

Omori succeeds Bunsei Okubo, who is assigned to take a new role at MUFG.
