Krungthai Bank and partners establish virtual lender Clicx Bank

Clicx Bank has a registered capital of THB50m to start.

Krungthai Bank (KTB) alongside its business partners Advanced Info Service (ADVANC) and PPT Oil and Retail Business are establishing Clicx Bank Public Company Limited (VBCo).

Established on 8 August 2025, Clicx Bank has a registered capital of THB50m to start and a board of directors consisting of 5 members, according to a KTB filing at the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

KTB and its partners were one of three consortiums to clinch a virtual bank license from the Bank of Thailand (BOT).

Thai Trinity Holding Co. Ltd. (HoldCo), established by the trio on 9 July 2025, has a 95% shareholding in Clicx Bank. HoldCo will later acquire additional shares in VBCo from the company promoters.

KTB has the right to nominate at least half of the total number of directors of HoldCo.
