MUFG names Manoj Bhatia as head of corporate global subsidiary banking

Bhatia will continue his role as head of GSB Asia Pacific.

MUFG Bank has appointed Manoj Bhatia as global head of corporate global subsidiary banking (GSB).

He reports to Shinichi Sato, head of GCIB Planning Division in Tokyo.

Bhatia will be responsible for establishing a “One MUFG” business model to enhance the bank’s global GSB franchise, as well as further connect its global corporate clients to opportunities worldwide, the bank said in a press release.

Apart from the newly-created role, Bhatia will continue to serve as head of GSB Asia Pacific, where he reports to Richard Yorke, head of global corporate & investment banking, APAC.
