NAB names Andrew Auerback as group exec for B&PM

Group chief risk officer Shaun Dooley will work as acting group CFO.

The National Australia Bank (NAB) announced the resignation of its group chief financial officer and a new group executive for its business & private banking (B&PM).

Andrew Auerbach will join NAB as group executive for B&PB on 16 June 2025.

Auerbach will replace Rachel Slade, who is leaving NAB on 1 July.

Michael Saadie, currently executive, private wealth and CEO of JB Were, will be the acting group executive B&PB until Auerbach starts in June.

Meanwhile, Nathan Goonan has resigned as group CFO and will leave NAB later in 2025.

Shaun Dooley, group chief risk officer (CRO), will work as acting group CFO in the meantime.

Peter Whitelaw, executive, chief resilience risk officer, will work as acting group CRO.
