NAB names Connie Sokaris as group chief risk officer

Sokaris starts in her new role on 3 August 2026.

National Australia Bank (NAB) has appointed Connie Sokaris as group chief risk officer.

Sokaris, who has been with NAB since 2003, has worked in the corporate and institutional banking division of NAB. More recently, she led the banks’ enterprise credit and market risk.

She starts in her new role on 3 August 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.

Sokaris replaces Shaun Dooley, who in February announced his intention to retire by the end of the year. Dooley will support Sakaris in her transition to the CRO role.
