Standard Chartered and Wise Platform team up to enhance SC Remit

Through this partnership, users can send funds in 21 currencies.

Standard Chartered has partnered with Wise Platform to enhance its SC Remit service, enabling quicker and more affordable international transfers across Asia and the Middle East.

Through this partnership, SC Remit users will be able to send funds in 21 currencies, including HKD, USD, EUR, and SGD, with mid-market exchange rates and no hidden markups.

Standard Chartered will implement Wise’s API technology over the next few quarters, aiming to expand currency options and coverage areas.

Wise’s infrastructure supports rapid transfers, completing 63% of cross-border payments within 20 seconds through its network of over 65 regulatory licences and six direct payment system connections.
