
Standard Chartered names Andrea Casati as head of client dev’t for global banking
Casati will be based in Hong Kong.
Standard Chartered has appointed Andrea Casati as head of client development, Global Banking.
Casati will join the bank on 6 May from UniCredit, where he was most recently vice chair, advisory and financing solutions.
He brings three decades of experience in investment banking, which included senior roles in equities sales and trading, equity capital markets and advisory at JP Morgan, UBS and Goldman Sachs in Europe, the US and Asia.
Casati will be based in Hong Kong, where he is expected to work with product and coverage partners to deepen key relationships in the bank’s target client sectors and help drive cross-sell.
He will also be a member of the Global Banking Management Team and report to Henrik Raber, Global Head, Global Banking.
