Union Bank of Taiwan and Bank SinoPac enable JCB contactless payments

JCB cards can be used for public transportation in Japan and in overseas markets.

Union Bank of Taiwan and Bank SinoPac have enabled JCB contactless payments.

JCB-branded credit cards issued by the two banks are now able to support contactless payments via Google Pay when outside Japan, starting 31 March 2026.

Union Bank of Taiwan has been a JCB partner since 2000, whilst Bank SinoPac has been a partner since 1998.

JCB Contactless can be used in a wide range of merchants and public transportation systems in Japan and overseas.
