Vietnam’s HDBank eyes 30% dividend in 2024

Total assets are reportedly set to exceed $28b this year.

Vietnam’s HDBank is paying out a dividend of 25% for 2023, 10% in cash and 15% in stocks.

The bank has also set a target of 22% growth in profits to $634.13m (VND15.85t) for 2024, and a dividend payment of up to 30%, HDBank said in a press release.

This would represent a 21.8% increase from 2023 profits.

The bank is also targeting an ROE of 24.6%, and says that it aims to maintain its non-performing loans ratio “at amongst the lowest levels in the industry.”

Total assets are set to exceed $28b (VND700t) in 2024, 16% higher from end-2023.

Total fundings are also expected to rise 16% to $25b (VND624t).
