UBS appoints Lee Tien Cheng Taiwan Country Head

The lender wants to tap on Lee’s wealth of experience as executive in various Taiwanese banks.

UBS has appointed Tien-Cheng Lee as country head of UBS Taiwan and branch manager of UBS Taipei branch, with immediate effect.

In his new role, Lee will work closely with local regulators and ensure further integration between UBS's Taiwan business and its businesses globally.

Lee has over 35 years experience in the financial services industry in Asia. For the past six years he served as country head of DBS Bank, Taiwan, overseeing both corporate and investment banking and treasury and trading.

Prior to this, he was managing director and chief country officer for Deutsche Bank in Taiwan and Taiwan country manager for Bankers Trust.
