Citi TTS names Kanika Thakur as head of corporate, commercial & public sector sales

She was previously head of trade for Asia Pacific.

Citi Treasury and Trade Solutions has named Kanika Thakur as head of corporate, commercial, and public sector sales in Asia Pacific.

Thakur in particular is responsible for driving cross-product client solutions including integrated cash management, working capital and trade finance solutions.

Thakur will be responsible for leading the bank’s TTS client growth strategy for these client segments in Asia and globally for Asian corporates; powering new client acquisition; and revenue generation whilst delivering an exceptional client experience.

Prior to her new role, Thakur was head of trade for Asia Pacific.

She first headed the trade finance pillar for Asia Pacific. She first joined Citi in 2001 as a management associate in India.
